Smashing (killing) a fertilized eagle egg can get you 5 years in prison.

A human fetus? That depends on the week it’s in, because apparently it’s not “human” enough at a certain point.

Yay baby eagles!

As one preacher said ‘I have good news and bad news. The good news: God is here. The bad news: God is here.’ It depends on which side of the line you are standing on.

Men go after novel and false doctrines because they do not really know the truth; for if the truth had gotten into them and filled them, they would not have room for these day-dreams.

To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.

I have one reason why you should walk away from that temptation right now. One reason: God. Is. Better.

From the Illustrated Word Series

This is a picture of what many would consider a blade of grass. Ordinary. Yet, this blade is adorned with a 3-winged leaf, golden and bright it stands out from the stem. A lot of try going through life getting noticed. We do not want to be ordinary. With Christ, we are never to be found “just ordinary.” With Christ, beauty is found from within - adorning our spirits with Fruit and passion and love. We do not have to worry about our outward condition - let it be worn and torn up from labor, let our hands be raw and our knees dirty from service and prayer - but let our souls be Incorruptibly Adorned with his grace.

1 Peter 3:1-4

1 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
